Ainsley - one year
July 23, 2008 – 1:41 pm
Ainsley has grown so much since I photographed her last year. She turned one in June and I was so excited when her Aunt B called to set up her session. We met at Aldridge Gardens last week. She absolutely refused to sit in the grass! Thank goodness Kelley brought a sheet. She did great and was full of expressions!
I am looking forward to a Christmas session with you guys this year!
Taylor - senior session
July 22, 2008 – 5:54 pm
Meet Taylor Hicks! He is a senior at Boaz High. Taylor and his mom and dad drove down to Birmingham a few weeks ago to have a senior shoot. We had so much fun driving around downtown and finding really cool places. I asked Renee to keep a look out for us. When your downtown you never know who will walk up on you. So, you have to have someone to keep their eye out.
I get too caught up with the camera in my face to pay any attention! Anyway, we had a lot of fun. I hope you guys had a great dinner after all that hard work.
Taylor, I hope you have an awesome senior year!
Emily & Kyle - 06.14.08
July 21, 2008 – 5:40 pm
What a FUN wedding this was! Kyle is so funny!
I loved everything about this wedding. The wedding and reception took place at the Senior Activity Center in Gadsden, AL. The ceremony was held outside in the courtyard, beautiful! All the vendors were fabulous! I wish you two the best! Good luck in Memphis!
Vendors:
Ferguson’s Florist - (bouquets and boutonnieres)
Alexander’s The Great Events - (catering)
The Cupboard - (cake)
Michelle & Wes - e-session
July 21, 2008 – 1:13 pm
Michelle and Wes are so much fun. Michelle asked me if we could do the engagement session at her dad’s farm. I love when brides have their own ideas that help make the session more personal. How funny is it that her dad lives in the same neighborhood where my parents and Bo’s parents live! What a small world! We met them a few weeks ago and had so much fun. Her dad even saddled up the horses. The horse Wes was riding was a bit excited; I think he was really wanting to run. We had a great time shooting you two and really look forward to the wedding in the next few weeks!
Bethany & Paul - belly session
July 10, 2008 – 1:47 am
My cousin Bethany and her husband Paul are expecting their first born in August, Miss Raylynn Marie. My family is so excited!
She will be the first great grandchild. I cannot wait to photograph her, alot!
Hopefully, Miss Sophie, will not be too jealous!
Oh, is the view in these shots not gorgeous; it’s their backyard.

Carrie & Jason - 06.07.08
July 3, 2008 – 8:43 am
Carrie and Jason were married 06.07.08 at Scottsboro First Baptist Church in Scottsboro, AL. What an amazing wedding! They chose to do all their photographs before the ceremony(great decision by the way
). So of course we had the moment when they see each other for the first time. It was so sweet. I had to fight the tears back. I love the look on Jason’s face, he is completely blown away by how gorgeous his bride is!
I also found out that Carrie’s parents were married at the same church over 30 years ago, how awesome! After the ceremony, the reception took place at Plantation Pointe Club House. I managed to steal them away from the reception for a minute to get some beautiful shots on the golf course. This wedding was just beautiful. Thank you for letting us be part of your special day!
