We met Melanie and Adam at the Birmingham Zoo a couple of weeks ago; one of their favorite dates. 
It started out really HOT, but very quickly a storm started to blow up and began to cool things off a bit. We were running through the zoo trying to see everything before the rain started. Soon as we walked out of the zoo there was a huge bolt of lightning and then BOOM! Rain is one thing, but when it comes to lightning I am not playing around outside. So, we went to Mountain Brook Creamery to wait a few minutes for the storm to pass and decided to have ice cream, YUM! 
I think we had a great time; animals, rain, lightning, and ice cream! Oh, by the way, great outfits you two, LOVE IT!
