Anna+Andy | Athens Engagement Photographer

I drove up to Athens to meet Anna+Andy for their engagement session a little over a week ago. This was during the process of Bo and I working like crazy to get our new home(well, not so “new”, but new to us) ready for us to move into by the end of March. Anyway, Anna+Andy was a breathe of fresh air. They were so fun, sweet, in love, and a blast to photograph. They brought along Patton, their sweet boxer that I kept calling “Drake”. I have the tendency to give my clients and their pets new names, not sure why. Please forgive me for that, lol! Anna had some great ideas and locations for their session. One being a truck that her late grandfather had restored. It was the last truck he finished before he passed. It is something very sentimental to their family. Her father had to sell it a few years ago, but luckily it was to a family friend that Anna still has contact with. She is surprising her father with these photos…LOVE it! I cannot wait for the wedding in Nashville this June! :)

S+R | Birmingham Engagement Photographer

S+R contacted me a few weeks ago to set up an engagement session. Their wedding is this May. I was excited they asked me to shoot their engagement session. We ended up going to the same park where the proposal took place! I had so much fun with you two! I know the wedding is going to be beautiful…congrats! :)

Shana+Tom | Birmingham Wedding Photographer

I can’t even begin to explain how EXCITED I am to be working with this couple! You know sometimes when you meet someone you have this immediate connection…somehow you know God sent them into your life! I have been fortunate to have had this opportunity happen several times through my business (another reason I LOVE what I do)and Shana+Tom are no exception! When I first met Shana, I knew we clicked! I am beyond thrilled that they have chosen me as their wedding photographer and I cannot wait to capture their wedding day! We met this past Saturday morning for breakfast at The Original Pancake House and then opted for a quick mini e-session before heading over toThe Chili Cook-off in Homewood. It was a wonderful morning, so glad you asked us to hang out! Bo and I had a great time getting to know you both! Just 18 more days till the BIG day! :)

Lindsey + Matt | e-session

I had a blast photographing this fun loving couple! Matt brought along his guitar, which I LOVED! We drove all over Birmingham finding new spots I had never shot at before. They totally rocked it. They did anything I asked them(hope nobody got chiggers,lol)! Check out how FIERCE Lindsey’s eyes are, GORGEOUS! I am so pumped for their wedding this October!

Brittany + Todd | Birmingham Wedding Photographer

Meet my brother-in-law and soon to be sister-in-law! Todd and Brittany are getting married June 20! I will get to be a guest at the wedding, which I have only been once before. I am quite excited to watch and enjoy as a guest. Bo & I was thrilled to photograph their engagement and Brittany’s bridal session!(coming soon ;) ) We are so excited for these two! God has so much planned for them. They both teach at Benjamin Russel High and Todd coaches football. We started at the Botanical Gardens where Todd proposed to Brittany. The first image is the exact spot where he proposed(minus the bench, ha). Bo and I are so excited about having such a wonderful sister-in-law. Click here for the SLIDESHOW !

Lacqusta + Ryan | e-session

I was so excited when Lacqusta contacted me to photograph her wedding. I have known her for what seems like forever. Lacqusta, my sister Emily, and I cheered together for the Attalla Roadrunner’s Pee Wee football team and her brother Lance played football. We all went to elementary school together too! We use to spend a lot of time together. I wish I had some old photos to share, haha. I also worked with Ryan for a short time while in college. We all go way back…good memories! Anyway, it is always fun getting to document old friends! We had a lot of fun during their session. We started at Lacqusta’s Aunt Violet’s home and then ventured around Attalla. Courtney + Chuck | e-session

The moment I met Courtney I knew she would be a blast to photograph! So when she asked if we could go to the beach for their e-session I about flipped! I LOVE the beach and it was the perfect spot because Chuck proposed to her on the BEACH! Their session was so much FUN! They are perfect for each other and adorable to boot!
