I can’t even begin to explain how EXCITED I am to be working with this couple! You know sometimes when you meet someone you have this immediate connection…somehow you know God sent them into your life! I have been fortunate to have had this opportunity happen several times through my business (another reason I LOVE what I do)and Shana+Tom are no exception! When I first met Shana, I knew we clicked! I am beyond thrilled that they have chosen me as their wedding photographer and I cannot wait to capture their wedding day! We met this past Saturday morning for breakfast at The Original Pancake House and then opted for a quick mini e-session before heading over toThe Chili Cook-off in Homewood. It was a wonderful morning, so glad you asked us to hang out! Bo and I had a great time getting to know you both! Just 18 more days till the BIG day!

I just got the 5D MarkII, so I decided I would play around with the video feature. Here is a little slideshow I created! =)
(Make sure HD is turned off, so it will play smooth.)

I was so excited when Stephanie asked me a few months ago about doing a session with her hubby and his sister and brother-in-law! We had a hard time getting our schedules and the weather to work out, but we finally got together this past weekend and the weather was perfect…makes me wish Spring would hurry up and get here! Bo and I met Stephanie+Doug a little over a year ago in one of our small groups at Church of the Highlands. We were still in the same small group until a few weeks ago when we found out Doug accepted a job in Prattville. We are so happy for them, but will miss seeing them on Monday nights! I had a great time with you guys Sunday!

I love photographing families! I have been very blessed to have the opportunity to meet some really sweet families this year! Here is one I met up with on a freezing cold day!

Bo and I met up earlier today for a quick mini session with the Girouard Family. The weather wasn’t the best, misty and only around 50 degrees! We had a great time and got some really fun shots! They were so much FUN to photograph! Such a SWEET family! Here are a few of my favorites!

Last Sunday afternoon Logan drove down to Birmingham for his Senior Session. I cannot believe Logan is a high school senior! I first met Logan 10 years ago! He and his family attend Kyuka Baptist Church, a very dear church to Bo and I! He is very involved in his high school…senior class president, student council…just to name a few. He is very out going and so much fun to hang out with. He has lots of ideas and I can’t wait to see where the future takes him! I was so excited when he asked me to photograph his senior session. He wanted something different and was up for anything! Logan, I hope I met your expectations! Bo and I had a great time hanging out with you and Nico! Enjoy the rest of your senior year!

I LOVE everything about this session!!! I have not had the opportunity to photograph many maternity sessions…so I was extremely excited when Angel contacted me! Are they not a GORGEOUS couple!?! Angel loves the images of the father kissing the belly…Clete was a trooper and did everything we asked of him! I cannot wait to meet their new addition, which is due on…Christmas day! Thank you guys for being awesome! Congratulations…can’t wait to meet her!

I just seen this today and thought I would share! First of all, I LOVE my album company!!! Their products and customer service are top notch! I recently added a new bridal sample album to my collection…which I absolutely LOVE! It was featured as their first Cool Covers! I was honored that they featured my album! If your one of my brides or a bride-to-be and are interested in showcasing your wedding images in a gorgeous album, contact me! I would love to create a lifetime work of art for you! =)
Lindsey+Matt were married October 24 at the Foundation Ranch in Anniston, AL. This was a gorgeous location! It was a beautiful chilly day and we were so thankful that the rain stopped for a few days in October! You guys are such a sweet couple…CONGRATULATIONS!!!

I have a had a wonderful opportunity to lead a small group through Church of the Highlands. Before the Fall semester started Ashley asked me if I might be interested in leading a photography small group. I LOVED the idea and have been so blessed to be part of this group of lovely and talented women! We meet every Tuesday at various locations around the Birmingham area for short devotionals, prayer, shop talk, and shooting. We haven’t had the opportunity to shoot as often as we would have liked, since it has rained every Tuesday expect three! This past week God blessed us with gorgeous weather and we took full advantage! We went to Oak Mountain State Park and did a little shooting!

Ashley with her brace. She broke her arm, shot a wedding the next day, shot three newborn sessions that week, and then had surgery
the next week! She is a trooper! We are praying for a fast and speedy recovery! Love you girl!

Our meeting a few weeks ago at Historic Ross Bridge Park.
