Kevin+Kerry

I absolutely had a BLAST working with this couple! I cried, laughed, and honestly just fell in LOVE with them! The wedding was at the gorgeous Trinity United Methodist Church in Homewood, AL. I love the look on each of their faces when they see each other as Kerry’s Uncle walks her down the aisle! Soon as the ceremony was over we jetted outside to snag a few shots of the happy couple before the sun went down, then off to Matt Jones Gallery for the reception via Executive Shuttle(awesome idea for transporting the wedding party!). I do not think I have ever been at a wedding with guest from ALL over the country! Danny from Feel The Beat Entertainment gave a shout out to the guest to see what states were represented…I lost count! One of the groomsmen traveled all the way from Oregon! Needless to say, this couple is LOVED by many! Oh, and a BIG shout out to HotHouse Design Studio for the AMAZING flowers!! Congratulations you two! I wish you a lifetime of happiness!!! And I cannot wait to hear about the surprise honeymoon to St. Lucia!!!


A cow you ask? Yes, Kevin is a meat scientist…Kerry surprised Kevin with it and the cow print garter’s! :)

Nick+Kristin+Wilder

Meet Wilder! I absolutely LOVE this little one’s name, so cute! Kristin contacted me about my “baby steps” program a couple of weeks ago! I am SO excited about all these babies! Seems like everyone I know is about to or just had a baby! Guess it’s in the water! ;) Anyway, I cannot wait to document this handsome fella over the next year!

I have a feeling he will take after his Daddy and play college football! :)

Jake+Kate+Glory

I met up with Jake, Kate, and their sweet dog Glory last Friday at Tannehill State Park! It was a gorgeous day and a perfect start to my busy season! I met Kate when I shot her twin sister Anna‘s wedding in 2009! I am so excited to be working with them through my “Baby Steps” program! Baby Kaleb should be arriving very soon and I cannot wait to meet him!! :)

Stacy+Kurt | Hoover Wedding Photographer

Stacy+Kurt were married July 31 at Riverchase United Methodist Church. It was a beautiful church wedding, just what Stacy wanted! The reception was at The Hoover Country Club and Feel the Beat kept the crowd entertained late into the night! Here are a few favorites!

Hannah + Eddy | Maternity Session

Hannah+Eddy are so fun, laid back, and cute to boot! We had a very quick session due to crazy lightening, dodging rain, and being threatened to have the cops arrest us! It was definitely a first for us all and made for an exciting time…so glad Hannah didn’t go into labor! I cannot wait to meet Mr. Deason…he should be here any day! :)

Anna+Andy | Nashville Wedding Photographer – Part II

As the ceremony ended, Anna+Andy was game for heading downtown for a quick portrait session at the Pedestrian Bridge. A thunderstorm started to blow up in the distance. We hurried back to the reception and on our way we met the storm…crazy lightning, thunder, and rain! It lasted for a little while, but didn’t stop the band and the guest from having a good time! Robyn+Phillip | Maternity Session

Victoria | Birmingham Senior Photographer

I cannot believe Victoria is a senior! When I first started dating Bo she was about 8…makes me feel old, ha! She is one of many of Bo’s cousins and I was so excited when she asked me to photograph her senior session! Bo and I drove up to their place the first of June. The rain kept threatening us, but luckily it moved through in plenty of time. The land there is so beautiful and Victoria is gorgeous, so it made for a great session!

Myers Family | Lifestyle Session

I met up with the Myers Family a few weeks ago in the Boaz/Sardis area! I thought it was fitting location since Tiffany grew up there…we actually went to school together, K-12! Going back to the country to shoot is always fun! I LOVE that I had the privilege to photograph Kayne on his 2nd birthday! He is so cute! My favorites are the ones with the airplane. His grandfather is a pilot and this toy was given to the first grandchild…LOVE it! :)
